In February, 2002 Alliance/Atlantis Serendipity Point Films released Men With Brooms, starring Paul Gross and Leslie Nielsen. Diane Baker Mason was asked to write the novelization for the film - a practice common in the United States, but unusual for Canadian films. The novelization became a Canadian best-seller, and has reaped the praise of readers everywhere.
